David Johnson - Series Co-Creator and Director and Executive Producer

David Johnson is an award-winning celebrity portrait photographer,  which came in handy when photos were needed to promote Stuck on A.  David travels across the country shooting assignments for clients including Time Magazine, Fox Broadcasting, Food Network, Science Channel, Discovery Channel, OWN, Grey, Digitas Health, and Y&R.   David jokes that many of his shoot assignments start with the sentence “We only have 5 minutes with the subject... and they hate having their picture taken.”  In additional to photography, David has directed several short films, music videos and can be found creating silkscreens prints from his portraits.  David recently studied in LA, taking Judith Weston's course Acting for Directors.   David met Co-Creator Devin Compton on a job he was shooting for Investigation: Discovery.  He lives in Brooklyn with his wife,  photographer Natalie Brasington and their wiggly little dog Emma, who has her first film background extra credit in Episode 12 of Stuck on A.  Together, they make up the production company Genius and The Other Guy.

Russell Brandi,  Executive Producer, Assistant Director

Fashion model at times, amazing executive producer,  producer and assistant director at other times.   Russell joined the Stuck on A team during development and this series couldn't have happened without him.  Always one step ahead of director David Johnson, Russell filled about every role on set outside of DP and Sound Recordist.  While he's a very successful model, Russell is also focussing on production and executive production.  Russell and  director David Johnson are currently collaborating with filmmaker Casey Neistat on a film to promote Casey's upcoming feature in Resource Magazine.

Melinda Prisco, Producer

Melinda, for whom all things are possible.  From organizing everyone, everyday, to helping secure locations at a better rate than anyone else could, to even cooking on set one day.  Call-Sheets, SAG paperwork,  Coffee Machines, Organization, Oversight and Nicknames are just the tip of the iceberg.  Stuck on A was lucky to have her on board, as will any production that works with her.  Because of Melinda, we all looked forward to our daily call-sheets.

Colin Kelly, Director of Photography

It all started with his mothers VHS camcorder. Colin grew up surrounded by a family of artists, while kids were playing sports or getting shipped off to camp he was abusing a sharpie or editing with 2 VCRs and a couple blank JVC tapes. He studied film/video at The School of Visual Arts with a concentration in editing & cinematography. His work stretches all across the board, but his passion lies within short films and music videos.

Evan Devitto, Sound Mixer, Boom Operator, Re-Recordist

Evan grew up surrounded by music, learning to play a handful of instruments before even entering high school.  He graduated from the Music Technology program at NYU in 2013, where he developed his passion for sound engineering and mixing.  He began studying post-production sound and later production sound while in school, working on a number of student films as part of the Tisch Film program.  Since then, he has worked on a number of productions in New York (and a few elsewhere) – everything from short films and a web series to corporate videos and digital ads.
